Presteigne, a former Radnor county town, is a pretty border town with black and white half timbered buildings. A thriving community, Presteigne hosts a number of cultural festivals during the year. The Judge's Lodgings museum is an award winning attraction with an appeal to all ages. The town is also ideal for exploring the Welsh Marches, as a touring base and visiting historic sites and gardens.

Knighton
Knighton is a small and picturesque medieval border town. The town is situated on Offa's Dyke long distance path and hosts the Offa's Dyke visitors centre, which also doubles as the Tourist Information Office. There are several pubs and restaurants as well as take-away outlets and a wide range of shopping.
Knighton is also on the Heart of Wales line from Shrewsbury to Llanelli & Swansea. The railway journey is a must as it meanders towards Swansea in the south and to Shrewsbury in the north, taking in 120 miles of glorious and varying country. Please be aware that there are only 4 trains in each direction, so care must be taken to plan ahead and not miss the last train home!
There are several public houses and restaurants offering variety for all age groups. Coupled with the local take-away outlets, our guests could almost get away without using Kinsley Villa's refitted kitchen at all.
